We have no competitions at the moment. Our next competition will be our Photo Competition in late summer.
About our competitions
Te Whau Pathway is a project with long-term benefits—improving how people move around our communities, strengthening connections between neighbourhoods, and delivering great value for ratepayer investment. Since we couldn’t host events during Covid-19, we launched community competitions to keep Aucklanders engaged and involved despite not being able to meet physically. What started as a way to stay connected through challenging times has become an ongoing part of the project because these competitions:
- Encourage personal initiative and local contributions
- Give young people a chance to step up and have their talent recognised
- Offer a low-cost way to promote transport choices and water quality improvements
- Celebrate local culture, conservation, and community hard work
