Planting Day in Craigavon Park

In partnership with The Whau River Catchment Trust, Te Whau Pathway celebrated Arbor Day with planting trees at Craigavon Park with volunteers from Blockhouse Bay Girl Guides and Motu Moana Green Bay Scouts.

The ground was hard in places but we still managed to get a healthy number planted. In total 760 plants went into the ground, including tī kōuka (cabbage trees), nīkau palm, flaxes and native grasses.
