Why your feedback is important
Earlier feedback came from project partners, community organisations and members of the public. This helped shape the route of the pathway and its design.
In the past, you’ve told us that you strongly support the project, the improved access to community spaces and to the Whau river. An overwhelming number of people have been excited to see the earlier versions of the designs but mostly what we hear is that people just want it built! In the image below, you can see some of the changes we have made to the pathway based on previous feedback.

Community Liaison Group
A Community Liaison Group (CLG) was established in early 2021 to act as an initial sounding board for the project team’s designs and ideas. The CLG members live near the Whau River so their feedback reflects the diverse concerns of the local communities and has been invaluable in guiding project decisions.
