About Flotilla Whau
A whanau friendly event with opportunities for all to get out on the local Whau waterway in a raft, kayak, boat etc or enjoy festivities on land and meet your local community. Registrations from 8.30 am, welcome at 9.30, 10am Flotilla start, on shore events until 2pm.
If you are coming in your own vessel, don’t forget your lifejacket or contact the organisers to book a place on a raft (email flotillawhau@gmail.com).
On shore there’s a Cultural Food festival, games, art and a water slide – so bring your togs, sunscreen & water bottle!
This years event is part of Seaweek, aiming for Zero Waste, and is brought to you by Kelston Community Hub with support from Community Waitakere.
